The Resurgence Centre

The Resurgence Centre offers a warm and welcoming community space for educational courses, classes and events focussing on environmental issues, arts and wellbeing. The Resurgence Trust has a commitment to sustainability and a mindful, ethical approach which is reflected in everything we do.

The carbon negative building is set in the heart of Hartland, North Devon. Hartland is a remote and charming village boasting wild, untouched and beautiful scenery. The Hartland Peninsula is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and a UNESCO Biosphere reserve.

The building is highly insulated and benefits from a bio-fuel heating system, rainwater harvesting, solar panels and modern LED lighting throughout.
